We Manage Jobs (WMJobs) is currently seeking a highly motivated Democratic Services Officer to join our professional and friendly team.

The Democratic Services team sits at the heart of WMJobs, responsible for managing democratic processes and ensuring efficient delivery of services. This involves close collaboration with elected members and provision of support to Council meetings and committees.

Key responsibilities include administrative support for decision-making records, Freedom of Information requests, and Corporate Complaints. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with elected members, possess a positive attitude, and demonstrate excellent customer service skills.

In return for their hard work, we offer a generous compensation package, estimated at £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. This includes flexible working hours, generous annual leave, free car parking, and a local government pension scheme.

The role also offers hybrid working opportunities, allowing employees to balance home and office-based work. Committee meetings are held in the office, requiring flexibility and the ability to attend evening meetings.
