Manufacturing Technology Centre Research Role

We are seeking a highly motivated Engineering Scientist to join our team at the Manufacturing Technology Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate in a relevant STEM field to develop their skills and knowledge in advanced manufacturing technologies.

The successful candidate will be part of our Graduate Development Programme, designed to provide the experience, knowledge, and skills necessary to become a competent and confident professional engineer. The programme includes working on live projects, collaborating with industry experts, and developing essential skills in data analysis, research, and communication.

The role involves:

  • Working on advanced production systems, transformation, component manufacturing technologies, and digital engineering
  • Analyzing and interpreting technical data to inform project decisions
  • Communicating complex ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, a strong understanding of STEM principles, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. The salary for this position is estimated to be around £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
