Job Title: Family Court Adviser

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Family Court Adviser to join our team at Eden Brown Synergy. As a Family Court Adviser, you will play a critical role in providing advanced social work-level services to children, families, and courts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and analyse court applications for child protection and serious welfare issues affecting a child or young person.
  • Influence those with parental responsibility to be more child-focused when needed.
  • Advise the courts on how a child's life can be improved, supporting judicial case management in the process.
  • Keep the child at the centre of your work through high-quality direct work with children and their families.
  • Be a skilled negotiator, working persuasively with family members and professionals on behalf of children.
  • Keep the child's timescale in the context of the child's journey through childhood and, where applicable, the care system, at the centre of everything you do.
  • Advocate in the best interests of the child, ensuring their voice is not lost in the court arena.

Requirements:

  • A degree in social work and registration with Social Work England.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple cases.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
