Clinical Psychology Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Clinical Psychology Lead to join our Mental Health and Wellness Team in Barking & Dagenham. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified Psychodynamic Psychotherapist or Clinical / Counselling Psychologist with a specialism in Psychodynamic Psychotherapy to lead the development of our clinical services and contribute to shaping meaningful services.
This permanent position involves senior leadership and strategic input into our mental health provision, working closely with the multi-disciplinary team to deliver high-quality, psychologically informed interventions.
Key Responsibilities- Developing and implementing high standards of clinical care, ensuring the service provided is needs-led, compliant with national guidance and viewed positively by service users.
- Providing clinical supervision and management to trainee and/or qualified psychotherapists, as well as teaching and coordinating of psychological therapists, clinical associates in psychology and other professionals.
- Collaborating with other psychology services to ensure a smooth pathway for service-users and their families, under the direction of the Psychological Professional Leads.
- Leading the development of high-quality, timely, accessible and evidence-based psychological services for service users across the borough.
