The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthetic, Scrub and Recovery ODP to join their Theatre team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-focused care and ensuring the highest standards of patient care.

Job Description
  • You will manage your workload independently in a highly specialist area, utilising your knowledge, skills, and experience to undertake duties competently.
  • Demonstrating complex communication and relationship skills will be crucial in promoting effective liaison throughout the Unit team and with the wider multidisciplinary team.
  • Health and Safety will be a top priority, ensuring that staff, patients, and visitors are protected from harm.
  • You will provide accurate and timely collection and submission of Theatre activity data using manual and computerized systems.
  • Maintaining safe and quality care for patients within the Unit, adhering to Trust and Unit policies will be essential.
  • You will understand and adhere to all Trust and Unit policies, procedures, and mandatory training.
  • Participating in risk management, identifying and analyzing potential risks will be a key aspect of this role.
Requirements
  • A Diploma in Operating Department Practice (or equivalent) or RGN with relevant Anaesthetic Qualification is essential.
  • Ocean-going experience with Anaesthetic/Recovery experience is required.

Salary: £55,000 per annum.
