Job Title: Welfare Benefits and Money Advisor

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Welfare Benefits and Money Advisor to join our team at Guildford Borough Council. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on welfare benefits and money management.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on welfare benefits and money management
  • Assess clients' financial circumstances and provide personalized advice and guidance
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure they receive the best possible support
  • Work closely with other teams to ensure seamless delivery of services
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in welfare benefits and money management policies and procedures

**Requirements:**

  • Proven experience in money advice casework
  • Excellent knowledge of welfare benefits policy and regulations
  • Experience of income management in a social housing environment
  • Excellent customer care skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
