Job Summary

Prospect Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead GP to join our team in a practice located near Peterlee. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent leadership skills to provide guidance and support to the practice and its staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical leadership to the practice and its staff
  • Be actively involved in quality of care initiatives, CQC inspections, and locality meetings
  • Manage a small patient list size with a manageable workload and minimal home visits
  • Collaborate with the centralised admin function to ensure efficient practice operations
  • Develop and implement training programs for GPs, nurses, and other allied health professionals
Requirements
  • Registered GP with the GMC
  • Possess the right to work in the UK
  • Included on NHS performers list
  • Minimum of 2 years post-training experience
Benefits
  • Salary up to £120,000 FTE dependent on experience
  • Indemnity covered in addition to salary
  • NHS pension
  • 6 weeks annual leave plus a pro rata CPD/admin session each week
