Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced GP to join our team as a Lead GP in a practice located near Peterlee. The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent leadership skills.

About the Role: As a Lead GP, you will be responsible for providing clinical leadership to the practice and its staff. You will be actively involved in quality of care initiatives, CQC meetings, and locality meetings. You will also have the opportunity to focus on your specialist interest areas and contribute to the development of the practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical leadership to the practice and its staff
  • Be actively involved in quality of care initiatives, CQC meetings, and locality meetings
  • Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Contribute to the development of the practice and its staff

Requirements:

  • Registered GP with the GMC
  • Possess the right to work in the UK
  • Included on NHS performers list
  • Minimum of 2 years post-training experience

What We Offer:

  • Salary up to £120,000 FTE dependent on experience
  • Indemnity covered in addition to salary
  • NHS pension
  • 6 weeks annual leave plus a pro rata CPD/admin session each week
  • BMA model contract
  • Tier 2 Visa Sponsorship available
