Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Investigation Specialist to join our national ground investigation team based in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations, providing expert advice and guidance to clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise geotechnical and geo-environmental ground investigations, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on ground investigation and geotechnical matters.
  • Conduct site investigations, including logging of soil and rock to BS5930, supervision of site works, groundwater and ground gas monitoring.
  • Produce clear, concise factual reports, summarizing findings and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality services to clients.

Requirements

  • Hold a degree in Geology or a related field.
  • Extensive experience of ground investigation, including logging of soil and rock to BS5930, supervision of site works, groundwater and ground gas monitoring.
  • Good understanding of health, safety and environmental management as applied to ground investigation.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Full, clean driving licence.
