We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer to join our team and support the development and management of Combat Systems requirements. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work with various engineering teams, improving their levels of domain knowledge and subject matter expertise.

The day-to-day tasks of this role will include:

  1. Solving complex technical problems: Support the development of design solutions against agreed time, cost, and quality parameters.
  2. Ensuring design proving evidence: Capture comprehensive evidence within requirements management tools, endorsed by the appropriate level of authority.
  3. Understanding contractual and performance requirements: Support the definition and associated acceptance criteria and events through design, build, integration, installation, and commissioning activities.
  4. Providing technical support: Support integrated performance and acceptance activities, including acceptance of equipment from suppliers through to system acceptance by the customer.
  5. Improving domain knowledge and subject matter expertise: Work with various engineering teams to enhance skills and expertise.

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. A background in a STEM subject.
  2. A proven ability to solve problems.
  3. Extensive stakeholder management skills at all levels with the ability to influence.

Desirable skills and qualifications include:

  1. Specific Systems Engineering experience.
  2. Experience in relevant industry.
