Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Anaesthetist to join our team at Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic services to patients undergoing a wide range of surgical procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in anaesthesia, with experience in supervising junior doctors and other staff. They will also be expected to participate in the development of the anaesthetics service, working closely with the existing consultant staff to provide a comprehensive service to patients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality anaesthetic services to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Supervise and mentor junior doctors and other staff
  • Participate in the development of the anaesthetics service

Requirements
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Evidence of completion of specialist training or equivalent
  • GMC Specialist Register; eligible for entry on Register or within six months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of training (CCT) at time of interview
