About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer II to join our Finance Risk Data and Control, Risk Technology team at KBC Technologies Group. As a member of an agile team, you will work to enhance, design, and deliver software components of our state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way.

Key Responsibilities

You will execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system. This will involve writing secure and high-quality code using Java, designing and developing software solutions, and applying knowledge of tools within the Software Development Life Cycle toolchain to improve automation.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and applied experience. You should have hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability, as well as experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with modern front-end technologies such as Angular, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML is a plus. Exposure to cloud technologies, including AWS, and hands-on experience in building Microservices that will run on our internal cloud and public cloud platform are also desirable.
