Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in obstetrics and gynaecology, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • ">
  • Participate in a 1 in 11 rota of labour ward cover, including prospective cover for out-of-hours duties">
  • Contribute to general gynaecology clinics, including menstrual disorder, assisted reproduction, and adolescent gynae clinics">
  • Work with local managers and professional colleagues to contribute to clinical governance and management">
  • Support the clinical director across a range of managerial and administrative functions">

Requirements

  • ">
  • MbChB or equivalent qualification">
  • MRCOG or equivalent registration">
  • Certificate of completion of training or equivalent (or within 6 months of CCT by interview)">
  • On the specialist register of the GMC">
  • Able to deal with common emergencies in general gynaecology and obstetrics">
  • ATSM in Advanced Labour Ward Practice and Subfertility and Reproductive Health">

What We Offer

In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £87,750 - £116,161 per annum, plus benefits.

This role is based at Wrightington, Wigan and Leigh Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, covering the Wigan Borough and surrounding areas.
