About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated KS2 teacher to join our team at Wayman Learning Trust. As a KS2 teacher, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to children in Key Stage 2, promoting their academic and personal growth.
Responsibilities
• Teaching the Key Stage 2 curriculum to groups of children, focusing on each individual child's learning targets and encouraging their strengths and weaknesses
• Developing maths ability and introducing fractions, statistics, and geometry
• Helping children develop their writing ability by creating plots, characters, and settings for stories
• Keeping track of children's progress and reporting back to parents
Requirements
• QTS, PGCE, and a strong academic record
• A creative, imaginative, determined, resourceful, and adaptable practitioner
• Passionate about learning and able to communicate this to children and parents
• Ability to demonstrate outstanding practice in the classroom
