We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal Clinical Psychologist to join our team in the Fareham & Gosport Older People's Mental Health CMHTs. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing psychological assessment and therapy to older adults in the community and clinic settings.
Main Duties and Responsibilities- Provide psychological assessment and therapy to older adults in the community and clinic settings.
- Be a source of advice to the multi-professional team on psychological issues.
- Offer consultation and advice to other mental health and physical health professionals.
- Supervise a Trainee Clinical Psychologist and contribute to service development.
- Develop skills in neuropsychology and contribute to the development of the service.

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will have a DClinPsy or DCounsPsy qualification, including models of psychopathology, clinical psychometrics, and neuropsychology, as well as two or more distinct psychological therapies and lifespan developmental psychology. They will also be registered with the HCPC and have experience in supervising Trainee Clinical Psychologists.
