Our client, a leading food manufacturing company, is seeking a skilled Site Service Engineer to join their facilities and site services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs, and testing of all site services and infrastructure that supports manufacturing.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience outside of training or apprenticeship as a site services, utilities, or facilities engineer. They will also possess a minimum NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 qualification and have experience with industrial boilers, refrigeration systems, and HVAC.

The role will involve a mix of proactive and reactive work, with 75% of time spent on planned maintenance and testing, and 25% on reactive and breakdown work. The successful candidate will be a multi-skilled engineer with electrical and mechanical fault finding skills and the ability to work with a range of systems, including industrial boilers, steam systems, vacuum pumps, air compressors, and driers.

The company offers a competitive salary, rising to £61,000 with a training plan, as well as a range of benefits, including 31 days' holiday, a discounted company shares scheme, and a 5% matched private pension and life assurance.
