Environmental Protection Specialist

Cheshire East Council is seeking a highly motivated and organized Environmental Protection Specialist to join our specialist team. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking land contamination work, responding to service requests, and reviewing planning consultations.

The ideal candidate will have a relevant environmental degree, be flexible and adaptable, and possess good communication skills. They will work closely with the Planning, Highways, Building Control, and Public Health teams to deliver improved service delivery.

The role offers personal development and training opportunities, both internal and external. The successful candidate will be expected to explain technical issues to a wide range of audiences, making them an excellent communicator.
