Job Details

We are seeking compassionate and patient teachers to work as tutors in the northwest and surrounding areas, providing 1:1 tuition to students with varying needs. The estimated salary for this role is £20-25 per hour, depending on the type of tuition provided.

Responsibilities
  • Work with students aged 4-19 who have a range of needs, including SEND, SEMH, and those who have been excluded from school or are asylum seekers
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons, using your expertise to help students catch up on missed education and prepare for transition back to mainstream school
  • Travel between students' homes for each session, using a reliable vehicle
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher with QTS or similar qualification (desired)
  • Experience working with students with SEND or SEMH needs
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
