Role Overview:

Long Term Futures Ltd is seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team in a Long-term to Permanent Opportunity with Immediate Start. As a Teaching Assistant for Challenging Behaviour, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and social development of Key Stage 3 and 4 students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and challenging behaviours.

This rewarding role requires someone with a calm, empathetic approach, strong behaviour management skills, and the ability to adapt to changing needs and work closely with the school team to create a safe and supportive environment.

  • Develop and implement individualised support plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to monitor student progress and update support strategies as necessary.
  • Apply behaviour management techniques to ensure the safety and well-being of both students and staff.
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive school culture by promoting social and emotional wellbeing.
