About the Role

Dorset County Hospital NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an exceptional Fire Safety Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our fire safety team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our hospital meets the highest standards of fire safety.

Estimated salary: £42,000 - £50,000 per annum.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out fire risk assessments and develop action plans based on findings.
  • Manage fire safety equipment maintenance, including fire extinguishers, alarms, evacuation systems, and hydrants.
  • Liaise with external fire authorities and support fire drills, evacuation exercises, and audits.
Requirements:
  • A Level 4 Fire Inspectors Diploma is desirable.
  • Valid UK driving license and good computer literacy.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing professional development.
