About the Role
We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. As a Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to live safe and supported lives in their own homes.
Key Responsibilities
- Support clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and managing incontinence.
- Assist with practical tasks such as shopping, mealtimes, and housework.
- Research the community and introduce service users to third-party sectors to increase social skills, confidence, and independence.
- Attend meetings with relevant professionals to feedback on progress and discuss current cases.
- Complete relevant referrals to Delta Wellbeing for supportive technology.
Requirements
You will need to be caring and compassionate, and a good listener. One year of social care experience is required as specialist training will be provided.
