Private Client Tax Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Tax Director to lead our Private Client team in the South Coast region. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality private client tax advice and compliance services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Manage and lead the Private Client team, providing strategic direction and guidance to ensure the delivery of exceptional client service.
- Business Development: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, identifying opportunities to grow our business and expand our services.
- Client Service: Provide excellent client service, ensuring that our clients receive tailored advice and support to meet their needs.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other service lines to deliver integrated services to our clients.
- Business Growth: Identify opportunities for business development, including attending industry events, presenting to clients, and writing thought leadership content.
- Tax Risk Management: Identify and manage tax risk within the private client portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal and external requirements.
- Team Development: Lead the development of the Poole tax team, mentoring, training, and supporting team members to achieve their full potential.
- Professional Qualification: Hold a relevant professional qualification, such as CTA or similar.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record of building internal and external relationships and networks.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to positively impact and influence others.
- Technical Tax Knowledge: Demonstrates broad and strong technical tax knowledge and expertise.
- Business Acumen: Broad experience of managing financials on clients and adjusting the approach to advisory work depending on the budget.
- Business Development: Experience of identifying opportunities for business development on tax clients and across other service lines.
