About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Safran UK. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support, collaborating on work packages, and managing projects across various engineering disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate Time, Cost, and Quality in the Product Development and/or R&T Lifecycle.
  • Engage in Project Governance and Methods to ensure successful project completion.
  • Manage stakeholders from multiple engineering and non-engineering disciplines.
  • Manage change and requirements of product development.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress and support needed to engineering management.
  • Analyse and prioritise data and actions according to business needs.
  • Contribute to contract, funding, and commercial negotiations.
  • Support product engineering with technology handover and transition to manufacturing.
  • Perform peer reviews of data, analysis, and reports for team members.

  • Experience in project management, methods, and tools.
  • Proven background in planning and influencing project results.
  • Self-reliant, hardworking, proactive, motivated, and an achiever.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with effective communication in English.
  • Able to establish good working relationships across departments and with customers.
  • Qualified with an accredited degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Manufacturing, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Materials Science.
