About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the planning, preparation, and delivery phases of utility-scale solar photovoltaic (PV) installations across the UK.

The successful candidate will manage projects from handover from the sales department through to the delivery and handover phase, ensuring compliance with UK construction standards and CDM Regulations 2015.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the transition of projects from the sales department handover through the project lifecycle right through to handover to customer and the maintenance teams.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure all preparatory work is completed on schedule.
  • Ensure all projects comply with the UK Construction (Design and Management) Regulations 2015 (CDM 2015).
  • Develop and maintain necessary documentation, including Construction Phase Plans, Fire Risk Assessments, Traffic Management Plans, and Fire and Emergency Plans.
Requirements
  • Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Project Manager in utility-scale solar PV installations.
  • Understanding of local authority planning applications and conditions.
  • Understanding of generation electrical systems and grid connection procedures G100/G99.
  • Strong understanding of UK construction standards and CDM Regulations 2015.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Project, Excel.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work under pressure to meet deadlines.
