About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Manager to join our central SHE team at Willmott Dixon. As an SHE Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, contractors, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective SHE policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with statutory and company requirements.
  • Conduct regular site audits and inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees and contractors on SHE best practices and procedures.
  • Investigate and report on all accidents and incidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop innovative solutions to improve SHE performance and reduce risks.
  • Monitor and report on SHE performance metrics, including incident rates, near misses, and environmental impacts.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to stay up-to-date on the latest SHE trends and best practices.
Requirements
  • Level 3 Qualification (NEBOSH / Construction certificate)
  • CSCS Card
  • FASET, Confined Spaces, Scaffold Inspection, Fire Marshal
  • IOSH affiliated member
  • Valid Driving licence
  • Maintained good standards of HS&E on construction and housing projects.
  • Worked on a wide range of construction methods and trades from groundwork's to internal fit-out and finishing trades.
  • Worked with project team to develop innovative ways of working which improve HS&E standards.
  • Reviewed new products and standards and making recommendations for implementation.
