About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contracts Manager to join our client's team, a reputable electrical contractor with a strong presence in the commercial sector. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled professional to develop their career within a progressive and successful business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimating and Tendering: Develop and manage project estimates, tenders, and proposals to secure new business opportunities.
  • Project Delivery: Plan, implement, and deliver electrical projects according to programme, budget, and quality standards.
  • Project Management: Oversee the overall project delivery from inception to practical completion, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution.
  • Health and Safety: Manage and monitor project health and safety protocols, reporting any incidents or near misses.
  • Cost Management: Responsible for project costs, variation accounts, and labor levels, ensuring alignment with site schedules and build programmes.
  • Client Management: Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality of installation, discuss build programmes, and address any variations or variations orders.
Requirements
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the electrical contracting industry.
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Good IT skills, with proficiency in project management software and tools.
What We Offer

A competitive salary of £55k - £75k, depending on previous experience and skill set, plus a negotiable package, including a work vehicle. A permanent position with a Monday to Friday schedule, offering usual permanent employee benefits and paid holidays.
