Job Overview:

Freight Personnel is a leading global freight forwarder seeking a Freight Forwarding Business Growth Specialist to join our team in the South East of England. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving business growth through sales and marketing initiatives.

Your primary focus will be on expanding our business in the region, working closely with our commercial and customer solutions department to ensure alignment and achieve the company's strategic objectives.

Main duties will involve:

  • Promoting and developing services within a defined region
  • Establishing a personal sales agenda and managing pipeline reports
  • Recording sales activity in our CRM system
  • Customer quotations, tariff management, and identifying new business opportunities

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with excellent communication and negotiation skills, who is able to work effectively across all levels of the organization. A strong understanding of the freight industry, combined with experience in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, is essential for this role.

A minimum of 3 years' employment within the freight industry is required, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and objectives. Estimated salary: £50,000 - £70,000 per annum.
