We're seeking a skilled Water Treatment Technician (Flexible) to join our team based in Exeter. This is a full-time, permanent position that offers a competitive salary and a range of benefits.

About the Role:

As a Water Treatment Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our water treatment site, associated plant, and equipment operate effectively every day. You will be responsible for maintaining water quality and quantity within company standards, handling chemicals safely and effectively, and performing routine and non-routine tasks as required. You will also be part of a team that works a 5-week rolling shift pattern, including out-of-hours standby cover.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring potable water quality and quantity is maintained within company standards
Handling chemicals safely and effectively
Performing routine and non-routine tasks as required
Maintaining good housekeeping and ensuring the works are kept in a clean and tidy condition

Requirements:

A good level of Maths, English, and IT
Ability to understand COSHH, Lone Working procedures, and Basic First Aid
Ability to build strong relationships with people at all levels of the business
Ability to reach sound judgements and decisions when dealing with complex issues
Full UK Driver's Licence
