Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Instrumentation & Electrical Engineer to join our team in Watford City, ND. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and consistent implementation of engineering and construction standards in the design and execution of facility projects.

The Facilities Engineer - Instrumentation & Electrical will support the development of project infrastructure plans, provide troubleshooting and optimization support to operations and maintenance, and collaborate with project teams to execute facility upgrades and modifications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with experience in project execution, risk assessment, and process hazard analysis. They will also possess excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate with project engineers, production operations, and maintenance teams to develop and execute facility infrastructure plans.
- Provide instrumentation and electrical troubleshooting and optimization support to operations and maintenance.
- Collaborate with project teams to execute facility upgrades and modifications.
- Develop technical specifications, single line diagrams, and schematics for facility projects.
- Provide electrical engineering support in electrical areas classification, arc flash, and grounding.
- Coordinate with I&E designers to create wiring diagrams, grounding plans, and electrical installation details.
- Participate in risk assessment evaluations and process hazard analysis.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree or higher in electrical or instrumentation engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in electrical and instrumentation engineering, with a strong background in project execution and risk assessment.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation engineering principles and practices.
- Experience with I&E design software and tools.
