Job Summary

This role is instrumental in driving profitable growth through ownership of the Distribution P&L and provision of robust, comprehensive, and insightful financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish strong relationships with Region 2 PCs and other senior Distribution and Finance stakeholders to support the delivery of business goals through regular touchpoints and influential interactions.
  • Own the regular planning and tracking of key KPIs for Region 2 PCs and provide meaningful and insightful analysis on financial performance through regular prospective and retrospective reviews.
  • Perform month-end and forecasting duties for Region 2 PCs and articulate and present key drivers for performance vs. plan to senior stakeholders in Distribution and Finance.
  • Proactively manage risks and opportunities to the P&L through regular contact with business partners.
  • Work with Region 2 PCs on the budget and long-range financial plan processes to provide outputs for Region 2 PCs and identify opportunities to remain efficient as we grow.
  • Be the gatekeeper of the Region 2 capital budgets and offer support and challenge to the distribution centres.
  • Provide cohesive analytical support on ad-hoc analyses that drive strategic and operational decisions.
  • Own and drive initiatives for internal efficiencies and champion process improvement and automation within the team.
Requirements
  • Professional qualification (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Ability to learn and develop knowledge of operational levels to be an effective and reliable business partner.
  • Excellent communication skills across all levels and well-developed influencing skills to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ability to develop relationships across the business and at different levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numeracy skills.
  • Confident use of Excel.
  • A proven track record of delivering results to deadlines.
  • High level of initiative, curiosity, and drive.
  • A flexible attitude and forward thinking.
