Automotive LiDAR Validation Engineer

Job Summary

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RF testing and a good understanding of high-speed semiconductor testing and optical component testing. Experience with automotive electronics, preferably RF (up to 1 GHz) and opto-electronics, is highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform laboratory-based RF testing with a focus on automotive LiDAR chipsets.
  • Participate in new product design meetings and drive test feature development for the successful validation of new automotive products.
  • Lead the validation solution development for new products, including software, hardware, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with designers, product, test, and applications engineers to ensure seamless product development.

Requirements

  • BSc/MSc in a relevant engineering degree with at least 7 years' relevant work experience.
  • Able to work under pressure in a highly paced, dynamic R&D environment.
  • Excellent team-player with strong communication skills.
  • Experience with Automotive systems engineering and SysML modelling is desirable.
