Finance Faculty Position at the American Finance Association

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced finance professional to join our faculty at the American Finance Association. As a leading organization in the field of finance, we are committed to excellence in research, teaching, and service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct independent research in finance or a related discipline, with a focus on publishing papers in top finance and/or economics journals.
  • Develop and deliver excellent teaching in finance at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, with a focus on creating engaging and interactive learning experiences.
  • Contribute to the research and teaching agenda in FinTech, with a focus on staying up-to-date with the latest developments in the field.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and research projects.

Requirements:

  • Completed or near completion of doctoral studies in finance or a related discipline.
  • Strong teaching skills in finance, with experience in developing and delivering courses at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
  • Excellent research skills, with a focus on publishing papers in top finance and/or economics journals.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching methods and research projects.
