We are seeking a skilled and reliable Cleaning Operative to join our team at Royal Mail Property & Facilities Solutions. As a key member of our facilities maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out a variety of cleaning tasks, including mopping, toilet cleaning, washing walls, vacuuming, emptying bins, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces.
  • Operate a range of cleaning equipment, including vacuum cleaners, mops, and cleaning solutions.
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve cleaning objectives.
  • Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to a high standard and in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Report any maintenance or repair issues to the facilities management team.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who is able to work independently and as part of a team. You will have previous cleaning experience and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and customers. You will also have a keen eye for detail and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including 22.5 days annual leave, rising to 25 after 5 years' service, plus bank holidays, uniform, PPE, employee referral scheme, and a Defined Contribution pension scheme. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
