Hospital Pharmacy Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Technician to join our team as a Dispensary Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the team in implementing strategic changes and providing direct leadership to ensure timely delivery of change in a busy acute hospital dispensary setting.
The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, motivation, enthusiasm for promoting new ideas, determination to succeed in a challenging environment, and commitment to future developments in pharmacy services.
In this role, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to the strategic plan for dispensary operations, including change management projects and adopting new models of working with EPMA systems.

Main Responsibilities:
- Leading the team in implementing strategic changes and providing direct leadership to ensure timely delivery of change in a busy acute hospital dispensary setting.
- Contributing to the strategic plan for dispensary operations, including change management projects and adopting new models of working with EPMA systems.
- Providing professional leadership and management in all aspects of dispensary services for staff members, including pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, pre-registration trainee pharmacy technicians, trainee pharmacists, and support workers.
- Ensuring appropriate training is provided for staff and maintaining training records.
- Assisting with stock management and financial control of costs within the dispensary service.
- Deputising for the Team Leader for Dispensary Services, providing technical leadership.
Requirements:
- Registered as a Pharmacy Technician with the GPhC
- Accredited Checking Pharmacy Technician (ACPT) qualification
- Experience in NHS hospital pharmacy, line management, and change management
- Strong organisational and computer skills
Salary: £39,000 - £44,000 per annum
