About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Restaurant Cook to join our team at We Care Group. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality meals to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Create nutritious menus that cater to diverse dietary needs and preferences
  • Lead and train the kitchen team in food preparation and safety protocols
  • Manage all mandatory paperwork, including COSHH and HACCP guidelines
  • Cater for special events and seasonal activities
  • Order and procure fresh ingredients from preferred suppliers
  • Monitor stock levels and inform management of discrepancies
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen and food storage areas
  • Assist in monitoring and recording refrigerator, chiller, and freezer temperatures

Requirements:

  • Right to live and work in the UK
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • Menu engineering skills
  • HACCP/Food Safety Management skills
