Our client enjoys a variety of activities and has multiple therapy sessions, including hydrotherapy, so being able to drive and swim are essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with personalised routines, inclusive of hoists, to ensure the client's comfort and well-being.
  • Complete daily living activities, including personal hygiene and mobility, to promote independence.
  • Administer medication and monitor health conditions, adhering to medical protocols.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance the client's quality of life.
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in the client's conditions to relevant healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with a range of healthcare professionals and family members to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in complex care, to demonstrate expertise.
  • Ability to deal with challenging behaviours, ensuring a safe and respectful environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic nature to provide high-quality care.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing circumstances.
  • Flexibility to work the specified hours, including evenings and weekends.
