Registered Hepatology Nursing Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Registered Nursing Associate to join our Hepatology team at the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients with liver diseases, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and efficient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Undertake fibroscan clinics and participate in testing and treatment of viral hepatitis C.
- Work collaboratively with the Hepatology Nursing team to deliver safe and effective specialized nursing care.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans, ensuring patient-centered and evidence-based practice.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in liver disease management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Registered Nursing Associate qualification and experience in liver disease management.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
- Knowledge of liver disease pathophysiology, treatment options, and current best practices.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
