The Cambian Group is seeking dedicated and compassionate Residential Childcare Support Professionals to join our team. We provide a nurturing environment where children and young people can thrive, and we are committed to empowering them to reach their full potential.

What We Offer
  • Competitive starting rate of £12.54 per hour, depending on qualifications
  • Flexible work arrangements: Full-time, part-time, and bank positions available
  • Generous sleep-in rate of £30 (typically 2-3 sleep-ins per week)

  • Comprehensive induction program: 10 days of paid intensive training, including both face-to-face and online learning
  • 3-5 paid shadowing shifts with experienced Support Workers or Team Leaders
Your Responsibilities

As a Residential Childcare Support Professional, you will play a vital role in providing care and support to our young residents. Your responsibilities may include:

  • Collaborating closely with clinical professionals and local authorities
  • Facilitating social activities and outings for the children
  • Maintaining a safe and nurturing home environment (laundry, cleaning, shopping)
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing to a positive work environment
  • Ensuring the well-being of the children aligns with OFSTED regulations
Qualifications and Requirements

We value life skills and experience working with children or in health and social care is beneficial, but not essential. Full training and support will be provided. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive team.

A valid UK driving license is required for this role.
