The Supply Chain Manager is a critical position that plays a pivotal role in managing and planning stock investment while maximizing availability to support the Hobbycraft business and exceed customer expectations.
This role requires a successful leader of people who can inspire their team to meet customer expectations and drive the supply chain strategy, while also driving team engagement.
The ideal candidate will have experience in Demand Planning and Supply Chain management and will demand the highest standards in efficiency, service, and value for money.
About YouYou will possess strong leadership skills and be experienced in change management, enabling you to ensure the pace and engagement of the supply chain agenda can be met, business-wide.
Key skills and experience include:
- Highly numerate and able to understand and interpret financial, sales, and other commercial information.
- Excellent communication skills at all levels with internal and external colleagues and partners.
- Able to work cross-functionally to engage colleagues in a positive manner.
- An organized individual who can prioritize effectively to deliver results.
- Open and honest communicator with the skills to get buy-in and influence others.
- Demand planning experience, analyzing stock holdings, and commitment to ensure future orders are appropriate to fulfill forecast sales demand.
- Prior knowledge of WSSI and Stock Budget management within a retail environment is essential.
- ERP/WMS/Allocation & Replenishment System experience.
- Data manipulation and analytics.
- Ability to communicate and influence at all levels within Hobbycraft and our suppliers.
- Knowledge and experience in delivering strategic plans is an advantage.
- Experience in identifying, proposing, and implementing improvements to systems and processes is desirable.
- Project management experience is highly desirable.
