We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Activities and Events Coordinator to join our team at Neville Court care home in Kendray, Barnsley. As an Activities and Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for planning and delivering a range of activities and events that promote the physical and emotional well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver a varied programme of activities and events that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents
  • Work closely with the care team to ensure that activities are tailored to meet the individual needs of each resident
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local community groups and organisations to access resources and opportunities for our residents
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and events, making adjustments as necessary to ensure they meet the needs of our residents

Requirements:

  • Experience of working in a care setting or a similar environment
  • Ability to plan and deliver activities and events that cater to the diverse needs and interests of older adults
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
