About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at Woodfield School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with Autism and associated speech & language, social communication and behavioural difficulties.

Your primary responsibility will be to create a learning culture and experience for pupils who find it challenging to engage with a full programme of onsite learning. You will work closely with the SENCo and Curriculum Deputy to target and agree a programme of support and intervention for students, both on and off-site.

As a member of our team, you will be part of a collaborative and supportive environment that prioritizes the well-being and success of our students. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills and expertise in a unique and rewarding setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with Autism and associated needs in a secondary school setting
  • Work closely with the SENCo and Curriculum Deputy to develop and implement individualized support plans
  • Assist students with learning and behavioral challenges in a 1:1 and small group setting
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture
