About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Residential Support Worker in our Children's Residential service. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care and support to children and young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, young people, and their families, ensuring their needs are met and their rights are respected.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of personalized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each individual.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge, staying up-to-date with best practices in care and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a safe and supportive environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and inclusivity.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children and young people, preferably in a care or support setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, young people, and their families.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality care and support, with a focus on promoting the well-being and empowerment of children and young people.
  • A willingness to undergo an enhanced DBS check and provide references covering the past two years.
