Job Title: SENCO Secondary School

We are seeking an experienced and qualified SENCO to join our team at Clarus Education Ltd. As a SENCO, you will be responsible for the identification and monitoring of students with special educational needs, as well as providing support and guidance to teachers and staff.

About the Role:
  • Take responsibility for the identification and monitoring of students with special educational needs
  • Provide support and guidance to teachers and staff on SEN-related matters
  • Develop and implement effective SEN strategies and support plans
  • Collaborate with outside professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for students
  • Contribute to the development of high-quality inclusive teaching approaches across the school

Requirements:
  • QTS (UK) and National Award for SENCo
  • Experience of being a SENCO within a school setting
  • Experience of meeting the needs of students with SEN
  • Knowledge of the SEN and Disability Code of Practice (DfE/ DoH, 2015)
  • Ability to prepare and lead Annual Review meetings
  • Ability to complete Provision Maps and reviews/evaluations of the impact of interventions
