Teacher of Year 2 Students

As a Year 2 Learning Facilitator, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education to Year 2 students, ensuring their academic and personal growth. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of Year 2 students.
- Implementing appropriate teaching strategies to engage and inspire students.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback, and setting targets for improvement.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop curriculum materials and share best practices.
- Maintaining a safe and inclusive classroom environment that promotes respectful behaviour and positive relationships.
- Communicating effectively with parents/guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), and proven experience teaching Year 2 students in a primary school setting. You should also possess excellent knowledge of the National Curriculum and assessment methods, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to differentiate instruction to meet the individual needs of learners.
