Maintenance Tradesperson

Niyaa People seeks a skilled Maintenance Tradesperson to join their team in Ely, Cambridgeshire. This permanent role offers a competitive salary of £33,000 per annum, rising after 12 months subject to performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out maintenance duties, including fault fixing, construction, and renovations within social housing properties covering Ely and the surrounding areas. Key tasks include working individually and as part of a team, responding to call outs on a rota basis, ensuring tools and equipment are well-maintained, and providing accurate information on work progress to customers.

The ideal candidate will possess NVQ Level 2 qualification in a core subject such as carpentry, plumbing, or electrical trade, with NVQ Level 3 being preferred for plumbing qualifications. Additionally, they should be aware of health and safety regulations, have skills in carpentry, plumbing, and decorating, strong customer service skills, and the ability to work to deadlines. A full UK driver's license is also required.
