Fire Control Systems Specialist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Fire Control Technician to provide real-time fleet support for Combat Control systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of Navy policies and procedures, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support AN/BYG-1 Fleet Support in tasks such as responding to fleet issues, developing fleet advisories, and attending meetings.
- Complete daily SUBs/CASREPs/Fleet Correspondence spreadsheet and provide to NUWC program SMEs and Program Office (PMS 425) via SIPR.
- Develop Fleet Common Issues Tracker, tracking fleet issues for program use by TI/APB.
- Assist in technical documentation review and updates, including verification of procedures in NUWC test bays.
- Develop quarterly Fleet Newsletter (TOCSIN) with proper organization of information and correct grammatical/technical details.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 6 years equivalent relevant work experience.
- Associates Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent with an additional 4 years of experience.
- Willingness to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance and U.S. Citizenship.
