Job Description

As an Emergency Response Team Member at UK Event Medical Services Limited, you will play a critical role in the emergency response services we provide. You will be responsible for responding to emergency calls, providing first aid, and transporting patients to hospital or other medical facilities.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively under pressure. You will be required to drive ambulances, provide reassurance and support to patients, and undertake risk assessments.

This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires empathy and kindness. Our Emergency Response Team Members come from diverse backgrounds, but all share a positive, flexible, and adaptable attitude.

Salary Information
£11.44 per hour

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive ambulances/specialist vehicles
  • Provide reassurance, comfort, and support to patients
  • Undertake patient and vehicle risk assessments
  • Utilise mechanical and manual handling skills to ensure the safe movement of patients, operation of tail lifts, and wheelchair clamping systems
  • Communication with our control centre
  • The cleaning and re-stocking of our vehicles
  • Accurate completion of reports/documentation
