Omega Resource Group Careers seeks an analytical mechanical engineering professional for a Senior Product Engineer role in Tewkesbury.

This position offers an estimated salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The Role

We are looking for a skilled technical expert to join our team in resolving complex technical issues related to design, assembly, and testing processes of production hardware.

You will be responsible for analysing production data to identify improvement opportunities, maintaining process control, and supporting product and process changes.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Analyse production data to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Maintain process control, enhancing efficiency and reducing costs.
  • Support product and process changes.
  • Provide technical input using APQP techniques to support new programs and PPAP submissions.
  • Gather engineering insight and communicate findings with suppliers and customers.
  • Specify new test equipment for product output.
  • Support the sustainment team to identify issues across software, electronics, and hydraulics.
  • Conduct GD&T analysis of assemblies and components for non-conforming parts.
