**Job Title:** 3D Engineer Specialist

Hewett Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled 3D Engineer Specialist to join their team. As a 3D Engineer Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and programming Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) from blueprints, CAD models, and component parts.

**Estimated Salary:** £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in CMM programming and inspection within a precision engineering environment. They should also have an interest in new technologies and the willingness to learn and adapt to new software and systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and programme CMMs from blueprints, CAD models, and component parts
  • Convert legacy programs from alternative software platforms
  • Work closely with Production, Suppliers, and Customers to meet quality specifications within tight tolerances
  • Ensure that all parts are measured accurately and recorded according to quality standards and engineering drawings
  • Support the quality-led team in verifying precision-engineered components to the required standards, adhering to strict production timeframes
