Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality support to our residents during nighttime hours, ensuring their safety and well-being. This will involve engaging with children, providing activities, and maintaining accurate records. You will also be required to communicate effectively with out-of-hours services and respond to emergencies as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide overnight support to children and young people, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Engage with children in activities and provide person-centered bedtime routines.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's activities and progress.
  • Communicate effectively with out-of-hours services and respond to emergencies as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure the smooth operation of the residential service.
Requirements:
  • Experience working with children and young people in a residential setting.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding children and ability to follow policies and procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to work towards the relevant qualification if not already held.
